Seventies Remake

 This large family home was segmented, dark and dated.  A spectacular kitchen was designed and opened up to the living and dining rooms.  The cabinets and large refrigerator are finished with horizontal-grain bamboo; countertops are white engineered quartz with a waterfall edge on the island; and striking natural travertine slabs are featured at the cooktop and fireplace.  No surface of this home was left untouched; creating light open spaces in a beautifully layered home.
