Generation Green started as a small kiosk in The Forks Market. In five years, it was busy and bursting at the seams with a carefully curated selection of eco-friendly, locally-sourced, and health-conscious products. To show more product and to add a vegan café, they leased a larger space in the Exchange District. As professional interior designers, our challenge was to bring some of the charm from The Forks to the new location, meet Code requirements, and embrace Green Generation’s eco-friendly mission; while creating a functional space. We were thrilled that it was a Grade Prize Winner in the 2018 Commerce Design Winnipeg competition.
